For You Gals...

Last night we began a new study for our ladies at my church...we are going to meet once a month...the older women gathering with the younger women, teaching them how to love their husbands, pass along wisdom regarding raising children.  Last night we concentrated on our relationships with our husbands. 

Marriage is a picture of the covenant relationship that Christ has with His church.  Gals, we need to filter our relationship with our husbands through that grid.  The church is to lovingly respond to the headship of Christ.  We as wives should be doing that with our husbands.  That is something we have all struggled with.  When you find that hard to do, remember the grace of God which He lavished upon you.  We should never treat our husbands as to whether or not they deserve our love.  Our Heavenly Father doesn't treat us that way.  We need to treat our husbands based upon the grace that has been lavished upon us by God.
