Grace

Titus 2:11,12 - "For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age."

We know that out of all humanity, only those who believe will be saved.  Scripture clearly teaches that salvation is completely God's work and it cannot be undone, walked away from, or lost.  The grace of God comes through Jesus Christ.  John 1:14,16 tells us that the Word was full of grace and truth and of His fulness we have received grace upon grace.  The point I want to make here about these words of Paul to Titus is that God's grace through Jesus Christ is not to be used as a license for any and all kind of living.    Grace in the believer's life results in breaking the power of sin so that the child of God can live a transformed life.
