My mom treated all of her daughters (Karin, me, Betty Ann, Sherry C) and daughters-in-law (Sherry W and Maxine) to a night up at Lake Arrowhead Resort the first weekend of my visit.

We caravanned up in two cars, arriving in time to get in a little shopping before dinner. The food was fabulous and we all ate way too much! Sunday morning we spent some time sharing our favorite passages of scripture and the two Sherry's and Betty Ann sang for us. The weather was beautiful, allowing us to take an easy stroll by the lake after lunch. There was still snow on the ground but it was sunny and warm - in the sunshine. Before heading back down the mountain we browsed through some of the shops one more time. It was a great, relaxing and fun twenty-four hours! Thanks for sharing your retirement gift with us all, Mother!

Who's that young lady in the back row in black? She's too young to be with that group! Looks like you had a ball - great memories, huh? Your mom looks great - did you have any time to play cards?
We had lots of time but never got around to it, can you believe that? What we did do was lots of fun though!
Kathy has certainly inspired me to look more like her. Hey...we forgot to get my "Before Pic!"
