We desire our children's and grandchildren's obedience for their good, right? It's the same for us, with our Heavenly Father. Obedience always results in blessing. Failure to obey is pride and with time, results in judgment. We are not required to prepare our hearts to obey, we are simply commanded to obey. Jesus has paved the way for us to experience great joy and blessing through obedience but the number one reason for our obedience, we lift high the name of Jesus and it shows we love Him!
