2 Timothy 3:12 - "Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted."

It is impossible to be a committed, devoted follower of Jesus Christ, and be the person that everyone loves.  The sooner we grasp this, the sooner we will be free to love Jesus and be free from the bondage of what others might think.  The truth that persecution is a reality for followers of Christ should be an encouragement to us because it sets us free to love and worship Jesus boldly...
