Praising Him From East to West

Psalm 150

"Praise the LORD!
     Praise God in His sanctuary;
Praise Him in His mighty expanse.
     Praise Him for His mighty deeds;
Praise Him according to His excellent greatness.
     Praise Him with trumpet sound;
Praise Him with harp and lyre.
     Praise Him with timbrel and dancing;
Praise Him with stringed instruments and pipe.
     Praise Him with loud cymbals;
Praise Him with resounding cymbals.
     Let every that has breath praise the LORD.
PRAISE THE LORD!"

As I woke up this morning, I imagined the praise in the local churches going up to the Lord, all over the world, as the sun made its way around the globe.  Believers in Israel, lifting their voices...West Africa, doing the same...moving across the Atlantic to the Eastern shores of the Americas...praise going forth...across the Pacific and into Asia, believers all around the globe lifting high the name of Jesus.

Then I thought about this.

The sun moves from east to west.  The glory of the Lord is going to appear in the same manner, when He returns, like brilliant lightening, from east to west.

I hope you have, or had, a wonderful day of worship today.  May we make every day a day of worship and praise for His excellent greatness as we expectantly watch, for His return!
