Here's what we are to watch for before He returns and gathers His elect from all over -
- Others claiming they are Christ
- Wars and rumors of wars
- Famines
- Believers being persecuted and killed
- The gospel going out to all nations during this time
- Family betrayal
- Hatred because we align ourselves with Christ
- The abomination of desolation
- The worst persecution against believers of all time
- The natural lights going out

FOR MANY WILL COME IN MY NAME SAYING, "I AM THE CHRIST" and will DECEIVE MANY.
If someone would come up to you and say they are Jesus well you would probably say no your not. Satan comes as light not with a pitchfork and pointy ears. My point is that many people will call themselves Christian and will deceive many. Jesus said you will have fruit. It is not what a person professes but what they live. Just like the mark of the beast. Sure the government isn't going to say take this chip it's the mark of the beast. Of course not. It's going to be presented in such a way that would appeal to us.
I feel like Christians are asleep and do not know the word of God like they should. If the government promises food and money I believe even Christians will take the chip and think that it is no big deal. SCARY!!!

Hi Abigail - I agree with you that many believers don't know the Word like they should. And it is because of this that some will be mislead. At the worst, they will be drawn out and be killed because they didn’t heed Christ’s instruction. But I don't think genuine believers will take the mark and here is why. Revelation 14 tells us that there will be an announcing angel that will call out that if anyone worships the beast and receives a mark on his forehead or hand, he will also drink of God's wrath and will be tormented with fire and brimstone. I take this at face value, that this is really going to happen. Those alive during that time will hear this clear warning. Romans 8 tells us that nothing will separate us from God’s love. 1 Thess. 5 tells us we are not destined for God’s wrath. Jesus said that He loses none that the Father gives Him. Those who take the mark will prove that they were never genuine believers, never true sons and daughters of God. They are the tares that Jesus talks about in Mt. 13, look-a-like believers. The church is full of them. The great tribulation is going to be a time when the church is purified of the look-a-likes. This will be the great falling away that takes place. When this horrible persecution begins, those never gifted with genuine faith will align with Antichrist to save themselves. Genuine believers will hold to their testimony, even if it means death because they know death for them simply will be seeing their Savior face to face, the One who willingly died for them.

There sure is a lot of info circulating about peoples views of end times.
In the health care bill there is a section in there about a chip implant. Do you have any thoughts on that? Do you think that is when the third angel appears and tells us what will happen if we take the chip/mark?
I really don't think that the government will say this is the mark of the beast and we want all the peoples to take it. Which raises another question is the mark just for the American peoples or for all the peoples of the earth.
Any thoughts on the health care bill and the chip implants with regards to how that might play into bible end times?

Hi Abigail,
Revelation 13:7 tells us that authority is given to the beast (Antichrist) over every tribe and people and tongue and nation. “Every” is what I call a 100% word. His rule will be world wide. So in verse 16 when it says “he causes all (all is another 100% word) to be given a mark on their right hand or forehead”, this means here in America, in Israel, in South America… In every nation of the world, this mark will be implemented. Now as far as the health care bill and the chip implant, I’ve not read up on this but if this is only a requirement here in America, I don’t see it as having anything to do with the mark of the beast. Rev. 13:17 tells us the mark is required to be able to buy and sell. If we take this at face value, the mark will be required to buy and sell any commodity – food, cars, and services including health care and it will be a requirement world wide. If this chip implant is required only here in America for health care, it will have nothing to do with the mark of the beast.
To know when the mark will soon be implemented, the abomination of desolation will first occur. This is the biggest sign Jesus gives us to watch for. He sets our eyes on Israel. "When you see the abomination of desolation...then there will be great tribulation." Mt. 24:15-21. OT worship is going to be implemented again and Antichrist is going to stop the sacrifices, exalting himself as God - Daniel 9:27/2 Th. 2:4. That is when all of mankind will then be put to the test. Are you going to align with Christ, or Antichrist? If we take the mark, we'll be able to buy and sell, but it will reveal where our hearts lie, and it is not with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
