Chosen by God to inherit His riches...
Chosen by God to be His own possession...
Chosen by God to be created in Christ Jesus so that we would walk in good works...(notice which comes first)...
Chosen by God so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus...

He did not pass me over...
He could have because of my sin and been perfectly just in doing so...
