Did you know...


...that John the Baptist mentioned the rapture?  Check out Matthew 3:12...pretty cool...

That is very interesting. Of course you will get some that disagree, even prewrathers. But it seems to me that in the midst of this judgment that John saw as hanging over the heads of the nation of Israel was this promise that the true object of the harvest would be spared and gathered into the barn.

But, what is meant here? Is it the rapture or the gathering into the kingdom of God established here on the earth? John was preaching that the kingdom of God was at hand. I personally see both. The rapture is the means by which the living Christians will enter the kingdom of God at the time of the coming of Christ. Heaven will be a very temporary layover while the wrath is poured out. Our true destiny is with the Son in His kingdom, which will be established here on earth.

Not everyone sees the connection with Matthew 13:30 and Revelation 14:14-16. That's okay. Maybe they'll come around.
