SUMMER PROJECT THREE - SHOOTING MY PASTOR'S DAUGHTER'S WEDDING

My pastor's daughter Hannah lost her first husband in Iraq two summers ago and little Gabriel lost his daddy. The Lord in His goodness and graciousness brought Willie into their lives. It was a privilege for me and my husband to capture their wonderful, God-honoring day on our 28th wedding anniversary. This is the new, very happy little family. It will be by far my most rewarding project of the summer of 2008!

Guess who? Just in case you knew someone, I thought I'd send you my new little blog. It's not really a blog, but you will understand when you see it.

That is a great picture Dave! I have thoroughly been enjoying the Jake videos. He is one special little guy. I don't know anyone at the moment but I'll be praying about more additions to your precious family!

I have come to value you more than you could guess. While i don't necessarily agree with all your views and find them confusing sometimes you are at least consistent, rational and your views are well thought out. I hope I didn't offend you by my comments and was more thinking out loud at a couple of points. For me I think there has to be some combination of predestination and free will involved I'm just not exactly sure how because I see both in scripture. So I'm neither one nor the other I guess and in the long run I'm not really sure it matters truthfully.

Joyce,

You should know that I also value you. Your comments have never offended me. We do agree that salvation cannot be lost. It is a most precious and wonderful gift, one that we cannot nor will not walk away from once it is ours. We differ on our understanding as to how it becomes ours. When I line up all of the Scriptures I see God's wonderful, merciful, sovereign hand moving on my behalf. My heart is filled with praise and adoration for what He has done for me.

God's rich grace and peace to you my friend!

Hi Wilma,

Gabriel is a sweetie pie. There is a pic in the album at Shutterblog where he is smiling while looking at Hannah's bouquet. His face is all lit up. I think that one is my favorite. Our pastor's favorite pic, who is his grandpa, is the one where he just walked his mama up the aisle and he's standing next to her during the prayer, his eyes closed and hands folded. That's at Shutterblog too.

Thanks for dropping in...

Kathy
