First Place

"He is also head of the body, the church;

and He is the beginning,

the firstborn from the dead,

so that He Himself will come to have first place

in everything" - Colossians 1:18.


"He must increase, but I must decrease" - John 3:30.


The sanctification process could be put this way,
Jesus getting bigger and me getting smaller.

Here is a question that we can ask ourselves as we go about our day -

Will this make Jesus bigger, or me bigger?

From there, we will know what we should do...
