Our Weakness, is Jesus Exaltation

"Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, 

that it should leave me.

But He said to me, 

"My grace is sufficient for you, 

for My power is made perfect in weakness."
Most gladly, therefore,
I will rather boast about my weaknesses,
that the power of Christ may dwell in me."

2 Corinthians 12:8,9

We can pray and ask that our circumstances will change, but often the change of circumstances is that we are given grace to bear up well under our suffering.  Jesus, then, and His power is exalted, and this is why Paul boasted in his weakness.  Paul was saying, "When I am weak, you don't see me, you see Jesus."
